Oliver (red shirt) and his cousin (white shirt) put their faces into their birthday cake after the candles are out. They are supposed to do this.
Jody and I continue to learn about Latin American traditions. Oliver attends Spanish Immersion in Richfield with Antonio and Crystel - the party started at 4pm. We arrived at 4pm. Later we were told - "You should have told the white people to come later." We now understand that birthday parties are similar to open houses. The cake was cut at 8pm. Guess what - we outlasted the other white people.
Do not mess with the Pinata's. They are serious about their Pinata's.
