Antonio's red belt form

Antonio is the red belt by the mirror. You can sometimes see him and sometimes not. He is doing exactly what that big guy is. Why he's a little slower than the others and finishes a few steps behind them - I don't know. I'm thinking that he's thinking about his next move and that takes a few seconds. That's what I'm thinking.

They Spar

Seems to me they are playing tag. One thing is - I think they were worried if they touched each other they would have to do ten push ups. They are having fun.

It's that time again

Antonio and Crystel are making Valentines for their classmates. This year they can write all of their name by themselves. I like that.
Happy Valentines Day!

Crystel's first job

I hired Crystel to babysit Jack and Andy. Don't be concerned that the children appear as if they might fall off their chairs. She did a great job. I was very impressed. Here she is feeding them lunch. She earned $2 an hour. That's a bit different than the .50 an hour some of us made.
Antonio worked for $2 an hour the following day. He vacuumed the basement, folded clothes (3 loads) and put clean sheets on all the beds. The most difficult task for him to do was to make his sister's bed. But - he did it without complaint. He has his eye on a Star Wars Lego thingy. It will take him three years of jobs to get it.

A Mexican Birthday Party

Oliver (red shirt) and his cousin (white shirt) put their faces into their birthday cake after the candles are out. They are supposed to do this. Jody and I continue to learn about Latin American traditions. Oliver attends Spanish Immersion in Richfield with Antonio and Crystel - the party started at 4pm. We arrived at 4pm. Later we were told - "You should have told the white people to come later." We now understand that birthday parties are similar to open houses. The cake was cut at 8pm. Guess what - we outlasted the other white people. Do not mess with the Pinata's. They are serious about their Pinata's.

Antonio shares his Lego's

Antonio, Crystel and Jacob. They each took turns - page by page.
They were all very serious about their part.
